Anyone can send email pretending to be you

One public line lists which services are allowed to send email in your name. Without it, any server anywhere can send a message that looks like it came from you, and the receiving side has no way to tell.

Every proper email provider gives you the exact line to publish. It takes ten minutes.

  2. Have your domain provider add it. Keep only the services you actually send from.
