YLB Score › The checks, explained › Part III, Will a stranger trust you?
Your name is spelt differently across your profiles
If you are acmebakery on Facebook and acme_cakes_uk on Instagram, a stranger cannot be sure both are you, and neither can a search engine. One name, everywhere, is what lets people find you from one place to the next.
This is a hint, not a fault. Numbers in a web address, or a platform that only gives you a number, do not count against you.

How to fix it
- Where a platform lets you change the handle, bring it in line with the others.
- Where it does not, put the exact business name in the profile's title.
The technical version, for your web person
handles. The account name read from each profile URL, with company/, in/, pages/ and trailing numeric ids removed. Names agree when each contains the shortest, or all share their first six characters. Numeric Facebook ids and YouTube channel ids are skipped.
What the check reads. The account name is read from each profile URL (path, minus company/in/pages/channel and trailing numeric ids; numeric Facebook ids and YouTube channel ids are skipped) and the names must agree: each contains the shortest, or all share their first six characters. One profile always agrees.
